Today I'm going to finish up part 3 of the series about truths that will change your life! Maybe you've gathered that I love God, and maybe you don't care to hear about Him. Well, please read on because the positive principles that I am covering will work whether you believe in God or not! Positive confession over your life can work to change it if you will just do it habitually!
I have never been so sure of anything in my life as I am about my savior, my Lord, my daddy, my husband, my counselor, my best friend, my teacher, my confidant, and the love of my life! God is everything that I have ever needed and everything that I will ever need. I know beyond anything that if we look through His eyes, we will see our future and everything in it… remaining timeless, and becoming more beautiful with each passing day, and more filled with His presence and life.
Pure rejuvenation and an ongoing love affair with Him, and the blessings that He has placed before us from right now and on into our eternity! No matter what our day to day may be, no matter what we feel inside, or the level of our hopelessness and depression right now, I want you to know and always remember that the power of your life is located in your tongue.
Your world will begin to change through the words that you speak. I promise! You have to be conscious of the things that come out of your mouth, and learn to say the good things and not the bad. It’s not hard to speak the negative that comes our way, but it is effort to catch yourself and say the positive even when we don’t believe it at that moment. I can promise this change only because God does not lie, and those are His words straight out of the Bible!
In time if you speak positive words over your life and circumstances I promise, they will become that! The more you speak it you actually reaffirm it to your heart, soul, and spirit. The more you hear it, the more you will believe it! Speaking words of life into your life will begin to eat and kill depression, financial issues, sorrows, defeat, discontentment, self esteem issues, relationship issues, and a multitude of others as long as you are faithful to say them and not just once. Make saying them a habit. Like taking medicine that you would die without!
Become faithful to speaking the words of the Lord over your life. Just a few words can begin to take hold of your heart and release the bondages that have been there for as long as you can remember. I am a living testimony to the fact that what you pray, and what you speak will manifest itself in your life if you do it consistently and with faith! Believe that you will receive and you will have what you say!
So here’s what I did. About 5 years ago, I got together a list of confessions that are based in scripture. I took them and made them into a prayer that I would say in the morning first thing when I woke up (before I did anything else), and at night before I went to bed.
If I felt down or started to become plagued by doubt and fear, then I would carry the words in my purse so that I could say them when I felt that way. It lifted my spirit and mood! It was amazing! It wasn’t too long after I was saying them consistently that I had them memorized and could meditate on them in my head. So when I wasn’t speaking them out, I was thinking about them!
Before too long, my whole entire demeanor began to change. I found happiness in little things, I began to see the glass half full instead of half empty, and then wildly, the things that I had grown accustomed to speaking over my life began to manifest themselves in my life! In front of my very eyes I saw things come to me that I wasn’t qualified for.
Opportunities found themselves in my path and opened new doors in my life that were never there before. I began to prosper in everything I did! I was making more money, I was happy, I was at peace, and even when I would go to the grocery store, I was at the right place at the right time for that front row parking spot…nearly every time I went!
Every time that I saw these things literally begin to pour into my life like someone turned on a faucet of favor in my life all I could do was give the praise to the Lord! The more I’d praise Him, the more things would come to me. I know that it is because I changed what I was confessing! Instead of confessing out the things that I saw in front of my face, I began to speak out the things that I wanted to have in my life. The more I spoke them out, the more I believed that they would happen. The doubt disappeared and my faith soared higher than I’ve ever known!
I believe that when I began to pray this way and confess the good things over my life that it not only opened the door to change in my life, but swung open the gates of heaven wide open and rained down blessing and opportunity into my life! I began experiencing restoration in my heart and healing in every part of my life.
Since God is no respecter of persons, then what He has done in my life, He has to do in yours! I want to share the prayer that I started out speaking over my life about 5 years ago. Of course you can add to it, but this was just a guide when I got started. Magnificent things have happened in my life today because I took the step of faith to believe that things in my life really could change if I started speaking up things that line themselves up with the very Word of God!
I hope that you will take that same step of faith and allow your entire world to be reshaped with the good things that the Lord has in store for you! Mark this page, or go ahead and write this down on a note that you can carry with you! Make the time to speak out loud over your future, and in due time if you don’t grow weary, you will see your world change in ways that only God could be responsible for changing!
I promise that if you make speaking these things out loud over your life a habit, and you say them no matter what you’re going through or regardless of how you feel at a particular time, that you will see things begin to materialize right before your eyes and they will blow your mind!
God is good and He does want you to have the desires of your heart! So don’t ever hesitate to be specific when you pray!I am including the list of confessions for you to read, or use for your own life. Taylor them to your needs and desires. I can guarantee you that they do work if you believe in your heart what it is your asking for! Try it and you might just be blown away with the results! See the below confessions/prayer:
Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus and I ask you to please forgive me for all of my sins and cleanse my heart from all of my unrighteousness. Lord I want to be a consecrated vessel, holy, pure and acceptable in your sight. May I be the vessel that you can use to heal the sick, and restore the broken hearted. Please let your life and passion flow into every part of my life!
With my hands outstretched and with all of my heart, I declare that my hands are your hands Lord; and my mouth glorifies you by speaking words that please you! Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in your sight oh Lord. My hearts desire Lord is for you to know how my heart loves you and that there is nobody, nor any one thing that I think of higher than you.
Lord you are the love of my life and the very breath that I breathe. I can’t live a moment with out you! Thank you that you alone direct my paths. I have an awesome life, my heart is soft, my life is a beacon of light to those around me, I am whole, I make awesome choices, I love God and He directs my paths! I thank you that everything I do is blessed, and everything I touch is blessed! I am blessed as I come in and blessed as I go out.
I am the head and not the tail, I am above and not beneath. I am a child of the most high God and I live to serve and please you Lord in everything that I do and say! I thank you God that I am in the right place at the right time. I thank you Lord that you are opening doors of great opportunity for me everywhere that I go! I ask you to open the doors that no man can open, and shut tight the doors that no man can close.
Give me a greater discernment than I have ever known to hear your voice. Please lead me into the destiny that you have designed for me to do. I praise you that I am obedient at all times, and have instant obedience at the moment I hear your voice. I thank you that all of my children are obedient, and that you have set aside a good Christian husband or wife for each of them.
I praise you that my children love you and have a heart for your kingdom. I thank you that your angels surround my children wherever they go and keep watch over them to protect them. I thank you Lord that your favor surrounds me. I am highly favored by the Lord. I thank you that your blessings overtake me every where that I turn! I just cannot escape the good things of God!
I ask you to fill me with a fresh anointing with your precious Holy Spirit. I thank you that every person that I come into contact with will be forever changed just by being even for a moment in your presence. I praise you that I (will) have a husband who loves you with all of his heart. That he will have even greater faith than I do. I thank you Lord that I have a beautiful and handsome husband who is tall and fit, who dressed nice, and takes good care of himself. I thank you Lord for giving me a husband who loves me more than he loves himself, and that he will always remain faithful to me and only have eyes for me.
I ask you Father to let my husband fall in love with me with your love so that he will never leave me and we will always remain happily married! Thank you that my husband is an excellent provider and that we always have more than enough. I declare that we will lend and not borrow. I thank you that my husband allows me to stay home to raise my children. I thank you Father that my husband and I serve you together and worship you unashamed in unity!
Let my words be your words Lord, let my eyes see through your eyes, and let my heart be broken by the things that break your heart. Soften my heart Lord and circumcise anything that doesn’t please you. I praise you Lord that your mighty hand protects me everywhere I go. I ask you to give me joy unspeakable and full of glory, and I praise you for how awesome you really are! In Jesus’ name I give you praise and glory. Amen! (End of Prayer/Confessions)
